CCSP — Frequently Asked Questions
Which CCSP version is this aligned to?
Questions follow the current ISC2 CCSP exam outline and its six-domain weighting (Cloud Concepts, Architecture & Design; Cloud Data Security; Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security; Cloud Application Security; Cloud Security Operations; and Legal, Risk & Compliance). In April 2026 ISC2 published guidance integrating AI security concepts across its certifications, including the CCSP — our bank includes AI-related cloud-security topics accordingly (e.g. securing AI/ML workloads in the cloud, data and model governance, and AI-assisted attacks and defences).
How does the Exam Simulation (CAT) work?
The CCSP moved to Computerised Adaptive Testing (CAT) on 1 October 2025, and our Exam Simulation mirrors it: 100–150 adaptive questions weighted across the six domains, a 3-hour limit, and no going back. Our adaptive engine is proprietary — it selects and weights questions using our own logic to approximate the real CAT; it is not ISC2's actual algorithm and is not affiliated with ISC2. The simulation ends when the outcome is clear or at 150 questions / when time runs out, then shows a per-domain mastery report, a weighted pass/fail, and AI Study Coach feedback.
Is there a time limit?
Yes — the Exam Simulation runs a 3-hour countdown, matching the real exam. When it reaches zero it submits automatically and is scored on what you answered. If you get disconnected, you can resume an in-progress simulation from your access page (the clock keeps running, as it would in the real exam). Practice mode is untimed.
Do I need work experience to earn the CCSP?
To be certified, ISC2 requires a minimum of five years cumulative paid work experience in information technology, of which three years must be in information security and one year in one or more of the six CCSP domains (holding a valid CISSP can satisfy the full experience requirement). If you don't yet have the experience you can still pass the exam and become an Associate of ISC2 while you earn it. This platform is exam practice only — it doesn't grant the certification.
Are these real or leaked exam questions?
No. Every question is original practice material written to mirror the current style, domains and difficulty. We never use or sell brain-dump or leaked content.
What counts as passing?
The real exam scores 700/1000. Our report shows your weighted percentage against an equivalent threshold, plus per-domain proficiency (Above / Near / Below) so you know exactly where to improve.
Do the questions cover AI now?
Yes. Following ISC2's April 2026 exam guidance on AI security, our bank includes AI/ML cloud-security topics as they map to the six CCSP domains, and we keep adding to this coverage over time.
Do I get explanations?
In practice mode you choose one of three modes — Explain All Attempts, Explain Wrong Attempts Only, or Do Not Explain — and you can switch between them any time during a session. The Exam Simulation never shows explanations, to keep it realistic; a full per-question review is available after practice sessions.
What is the AI Study Coach?
After a session, our AI Study Coach reviews your per-domain results and the questions you missed and produces a personalised study plan — which domains to prioritise, specific sub-topics to review, and next steps. It is generated automatically and saved to your results.
How does access work?
Access is time-based (7-day, 30-day, or 1-year) with unlimited practice and exam simulations inside the window. The clock starts at purchase.
When does my access start?
Immediately. The moment your payment is processed, your access code is emailed to you and the access window begins — just enter the code on the CCSP page and start straight away.
Can I share my access code?
No. Access codes are personal and non-transferable. Sharing, reselling or publishing a code breaches our Terms of Use. We run regular checks to validate active access, and any code found to be shared may be revoked without refund.
A question looks wrong — can I flag it?
Yes. Every question has a Report button in both modes; pick a reason (wrong answer, wrong explanation, or other), add a note, and it comes straight to us for review.
